Investment methodology

Banque Safdié bases its investment strategy on three general principles:

  1. A platform called "guided architecture"
  2. Active risk management
  3. A team of high level professional advisors.

The role of the Bank consists in defining the allocation of assets which will best reflect the client's risk/yield ratio. With this objective, discretionary management has evolved from a concept of static and benchmarked allocation to a methodology based on the maximum probability of loss. In this way, the management of risk is active and makes it possible to participate in increases in the market while limiting large downward movements.

The Bank's expertise is particularly noticeable in:

·         bond management, in all its components (investment grade, high yield and emerging market bonds;

·         emerging markets and Latin America in particular;

·         the management and selection of share funds with strategies of momentum and fundamental analysis (bottom up)
